South Carolina Ol Shell To Miss Spring After Surgery - Yahoo Sports

(AP) -- South Carolina starting offensive lineman Brandon Shell will miss spring practice after having surgery to repair a torn labrum in his right shoulder. Shell played right tackle and started every game for the Gamecocks (7-6). He had surgery earlier this month, according to athletic spokesman Steve Fink. Shell is expected to be back in time for summer workouts and the season. Shell is a 6-foot-6, 333-pound junior who had the chance to jump to the NFL, yet chose to finish his senior season at South Carolina.
